Vineyard on brown and red clay soil planted in Suvereto in Incontri. A density of 5,000 vines per hectare Year of plantation – 1998 with Guyot training system. Grape production per vine, 0.8 kg. Handpicked.

The picked grapes ferment in the cellar in steel vats in contact with the skins, without temperature control or addition of chemical allergens and use of indigenous yeasts. Soft pressing and natural settling. Aging in oak barrels for 24 months. Bottled without filtering and aging on the yeasts in the bottle. Number of bottles produced per year 3,000 Vol. 14.5 °

Tasting Intense ruby red colour with scarlet hues. Intense bouquet with hints of black currant and strawberry, vanilla and roasted coffee. Smooth taste with hints of ripe red fruit, full-bodied and good structure.

Serving suitable for after dinner and after meditation, to accompany all grilled dishes, well-structured, aromatic tomato sauce dishes, very spicy soups with aromatic dressings, very mature cheeses accompanied by mustards and honey.
